Is MyShop built for heavy-duty, or adapted from a car-bay tool?+

Built for heavy-duty. Sixteen thousand lines of work-order business logic alone. Templates that include DVIR-style line items, not oil changes. Parts catalog designed around heavy-duty SKUs.

How does the customer portal work without an app?+

When you build an estimate, you send a token-gated URL to the customer by SMS or email. They open it in a browser, see the estimate, approve / decline / ask a question — no install required. Full audit trail per work order.

Can my techs work on cheap Android tablets?+

Yes. The tech app is mobile-web — runs on any tablet or phone with a browser. No app store, no IT department. We use $89 Samsung tablets on our own trucks at Fleet1.

What integrations are live today?+

QuickBooks (invoices + payments sync), Twilio for SMS, Resend for email customer comms. ELD providers (Motive, Samsara). Bulk CSV import for data migration. All shipping today, not on a roadmap.

How do I migrate from Tekmetric / Shopmonkey / Mitchell Manager SE?+

Bulk CSV import for customers, units, parts, and historical work orders. Free migration support is included with the bundle plan. Most shops are operational on MyShop within a week.

Can I run MyShop without MyFleet?+

Yes. MyShop is a complete shop management product on its own. The MyFleet integration is optional — it earns its keep when your customers are fleets that also run MyFleet.
